A hand held jigsaw or bandsaw can be used to cut the scrolled portions. Most any woodcrafter can be successful with this plan. You may need to buy a few clamps if you want to glue boards to make up the wider side panels.
A full size pattern for all side profiles of all scrolled parts, an exploded diagram for comprehension during construction, a list of the materials/size you need to cut, plus some instructions for cutting and assembly is included in the plan. Great project for any beginner to get started in furniture making -- perfect for increasing your skill without too much of a challenge. One drawer and two drawer versions of the same project are included with patterns, materials list, and exploded diagrams.
