Elite Clamping Platform

The Sjöbergs Elite Clamping Platform extends compatible Sjöbergs Elite Workbenches and the Original 1900 workbench by 18 7/8" to increase usable surface area and expand end vise clamping reach. It is built for woodworkers who need more controlled holding capacity without replacing their existing bench.

Double rows of 19 mm dog holes in the top align with the main work surface, allowing the end vise to clamp longer stock with consistent pressure across the joint. Additional dog holes in the skirt and at the end of the platform support vertical clamping with optional hold‑downs and holdfasts, improving control during edge work, fitting and assembly.

Constructed in Sweden from full‑length laminations of knot‑free European Beech, the platform adds mass and rigidity where clamping forces are highest. The 4‑5/16" skirt reinforces the structure and provides multiple clamping positions. When mounted to a wall using the included brackets, the platform also functions as a dedicated clamping station with strong resistance to racking during demanding work.
